This is a two-component coating built around aliphatic polyaspartic polyurea resin, formulated to push solids content past 85%. That number matters more than it sounds like it should. High solids means a thicker film in one pass, less shrinkage as it cures, and VOC levels that stay comfortably inside current environmental limits — three things distributors usually have to trade off against each other, but not here.
Color stability is where aliphatic chemistry actually earns its keep. Aromatic polyurea and most standard epoxies will yellow or chalk once UV gets at them; this one doesn’t, which is the whole reason it holds up on outdoor and semi-exposed floors where a finish needs to look the same in year three as it did on day one. Corrosion resistance follows the same logic — it’s not a side benefit, it’s baked into the resin choice.
Despite the solids load, viscosity stays low. That’s the part installers notice first: self-leveling is genuinely good, roller marks disappear faster, and there’s less rework chasing bubbles out of the film before it sets. It plays fine with roller, squeegee, or spray — nobody has to retool their process to run it.
Where it separates itself from most systems on the market is cure temperature. 0°C. Most epoxies stall out well above that, and even a lot of polyurethane systems get unreliable once temperatures drop. For anyone installing in the northern US, Canada, or the UK, that’s the difference between finishing a job in December or telling the client to wait until spring — and that’s not a small thing when it’s the reason a contract gets signed or doesn’t.
Once it’s cured, the film holds its own mechanically: strong abrasion resistance, good impact tolerance, and water resistance that doesn’t degrade after a few wet-dry cycles the way cheaper systems do. Combine that with the weathering performance and you get a coating suited to floors that actually take a beating — industrial plants, parking structures, anywhere the surface is working, not just sitting there looking finished.
None of this is really about any single spec. It’s about what happens when you put all of it together: fast application with a low-hassle cure, then a film that keeps performing years after installation without repeated recoats. The 85%+ solids figure isn’t a number for a spec sheet — it shows up directly in film build, in how many coats a job actually needs, and in what the floor costs to maintain over its life. That’s the comparison distributors are running when they put two systems side by side, and it’s the one this product is built to win.
